New Favorite – Andrew Ripp’s “You Will Find Me”
Loving this new song from Andrew Ripp (and buddies Ben Rector and Steve Moakler).
Here are the lyrics:
You Will Find Me
When your souls weary // When you find doubt // When you can’t hear me // Lay your troubles down
In your dark moments //When your hearts weak // Bring yourself broken // You will find me
Who wrote the rain // Who wrote the sun in // Who called your name // Where are you running // I’m gonna be there near or far // I’m gonna meet you where you are // Who wrote your name // Who wrote the sun in
When you come thirsty // When the wells dry // When your souls dirty // I am by your side
When your faiths broken // When you can’t see // With my arms open // You will find me
Chorus
You carried all my shame // When you called my name // I am not the same

Hello there!
So I’ve had a blog (in various locations – blogger, iWeb, WordPress) since 2006. But sometime in 2009, I messed up some HTML code that I shouldn’t have touched, & I couldn’t figure out how to fix it (and didn’t want to take the time to learn or ask for help). So I pretty much stopped blogging altogether. It was just too much of a hassle to try to post anything.
Well yesterday I decided to actually fix the wordpress issues and revive the site. But…in my typical I-don’t-know-what-I’m-doing-but-I’m-doing-it-anyway fashion, I managed to delete ALL the old material (& I also screwed up the backup files). Yup. Thankfully, some of my old posts were imported to Facebook as Notes, so if I ever want to revisit & repost one of them, I can copy/paste it back to the blog. It’s not ideal, but it’s something.
I should probably be more upset about losing 4 years of blog posts (especially since so much has happened!), but surprisingly I’m not. I’ve decided to use this moment to “reinvent” my little corner of the internet.
I’ll be honest, I don’t know what I mean by that, but it sounds like fun!
